In 2009 we will all need to be at the top of our "game" to attract the same or more players to our tournaments. A Shootout is a great way to make that happen. Imagine the excitement and turnout when you offer a $1,000,000.00 dollar hole in one prize!

How it works:

Setup a 165 yard temporary tee box on the hole closest to the clubhouse (yardage most be verifiable). Qualify 1, 2, 3 or 4 contestants in any way you choose. For example, letting the winning foursome each have a shot is a great bonus for winning the event. A raffle is another great way and can raise additional money for your charity. Then gather the rest of your group at the hole to watch the exciting contest taking place. If someone should knock one in just think of the excitement and publicity it will bring your event…
